Summertime Dog Sled in Skagway Alaska

Your journey begins with an entertaining historic tour through downtown Skagway and along nine miles of stunning coastline to the Musher’s Camp™ in Dyea.

Take and exciting ride in a specialized unimog up a rugged mountain road, surrounded by glacially fed streams and waterfalls.

Your musher will greet you with a custom-designed wheeled summertime sled and a team of very excited Alaskan Huskies.

Feel the power of these strong dogs as they whisk you down a mile-long, zig-zagging trail deep in the Tongass National Rainforest!

Back in your unimog enjoy the adventurous ride to a breathtaking overlook of the Dyea tidal flats. Depending on the month you might see eagles, bears, seals, horseback riders, wild flowers, and of course snow-capped mountains.

Return for a “Kennel Talk” where your questions will be answered and interests discussed with our experienced guides.

Plenty of puppy time will let you play with the puppies. Your affections actually socialize these future athletes, which is essential to their racing success.

A crackling fire and a unique gift shop round out your visit to this spectacular Alaskan setting!
